Saideira Social is Miamibloco’s annual grand finale. The last show of the year, where world-class artists collide with our currently 80-piece community-powered percussion orchestra, Bateria Saideira, in one massive, high-pressure release.

It doesn’t start on stage. Saideira Social season builds across the city from Wynwood to Little Haiti and across Miami Beach with master workshops open to all levels, roda de samba parties, dance classes, and public rehearsals, all leading Miami into one epic night.

Expect Rio energy with deep Miami roots. One-night-only collaborations, unreleased moments, and surprise guests are part of the DNA. Past surprise appearances include Alfredo Rodriguez, Gilmar Gomes, Gabriel Policarpo, Bóka Reis, and Salgueiro’s mestres Gustavo and Guilherme Oliveira.

Built over months, shared in one night. A Time capsule of Miami’s heartbeat

80 percussionists. Dancers, guest artists, community all locked into one pulse. No spectators, no standing still. The pit was full immersion. Not a show, an embodiment of underground samba as it’s meant to be.

Samba da Antiga set the ground and the spirit. The room locked in early.

Passistas and ritmistas feeding off each other, no separation. Carlos Malta, founding member of Hermeto Pascoal’s group, bending sound into something otherworldly. Magela Herrera opening another dimension. Trio de Janeiro bringing Rio straight to Miami Beach. Electric Kif merging their avant-garde force with samba for the first time.

“Pra Cima Ciça,” the 2026 Rio Carnaval winning enredo, live with Gabriel Policarpo. Salgueiro mestres touching down, real Bateria Furiosa presence.

Months of practice became one unified sound, shared in real time.
