The 5th Annual Saideira Social at Miami Beach Bandshell blew the roof off Memorial Day Weekend on 5.24.25, delivering a high-octane, sold out Carnaval celebration that spanned continents.

The now 80-piece Bateria Saideira created a mini-festival that delivered the power and energy of 4 Carnavals: Miami, Rio de Janeiro, San Sebastian, and Barranquilla. The village-sized Bateria Saideira thundered alongside 23 powerhouse guests : Mestres from 9x Rio Carnaval Champions Salgueiro’s Bateria Furiosa Gustavo & Guilherme Oliveira, Bóka Reis, Gilmar Gomes, Jacareo, Afrobeta, Samba Da Antiga, Rose Max, Ramatis Moraes, acclaimed gaitero Tato Marenco. With DJ KUMI spinning, Miamibloco’s Pagode de Mesa roda de samba, and electrifying cumbia and samba reworks, the night was a relentless fusion of rhythm, culture, and pure Carnaval magic.

Every moment was a celebration of cultural connection and Miami’s unstoppable energy. The crowd was grooving and sweating, the stage and pit overflowing with talent, and the air charged with the joy only Carnaval can bring. Thank you for Miami for being part of the entire process, from the weekly Monday rehearsals to the final party, to celebrate our community playing and dancing.
