Carlos Malta moved through the night like a force, bending wind and rhythm into something ancestral and futuristic at once.

Magela Herrera cracked the space wide open, pulling the sound into another dimension.

Trio de Janeiro brought that unmistakable Rio swing, tight, heavy, undeniable.

Bóka Reis and Gabriel Policarpo held the backbone, driving precision, history, and power straight through the bateria and into the crowd.

And then the shift.

Mestres from Salgueiro’s legendary Bateria Furiosa stepped in and the energy jumped. A direct line to Rio’s Carnaval pulse, live in Miami.

“Pra Cima Ciça” landed exactly how it needed to. Loud, proud, and fully alive to celebrate the winners of 2026 Rio Carnaval and bring that energy to our home turf in a real way.

This wasn’t just performance.
This was transmission.

A year of practice and Weeks of community workshops turned into one unified body of sound. Students, masters, dancers, and crowd all locked into the same current.

Passistas from Corpo em Som brought fire and presence, no separation between movement and rhythm, just exchange.

Rain came. Heat stayed. Nobody left.
