This isn’t just an event; it’s an immersion in Afro-Diasporic roots, a classic roda de samba pulsing with authenticity. Feel the lineage, lift your pride in Miami, and move with the grooves that connect continents.

DJ Illset spinning timeless dancefloor classics, bringing the baile funk and Brazilian heat throughout the night.

On deck:

  • Rose Max, voice of velvet and fire

  • Ramatis Moraes, weaving stories on 7-string guitar

  • Boca Melodia, pouring out nostalgia on cavaquinho

  • Brian Potts on pandeiro, sparkling rhythms

  • Hugo Sandim and Toco (Carlos) Silva on percussion, deep ancestral rhythms to turn Casa La  Rubia into a terreiro for the night.

  • Clezio Santos lighting the match, plus world-class surprise guests stepping in.

Expect classic sambas, thrumming percussion, and backyard jam vibes as if you’ve teleported straight to a Rio pagode. This is community in action and full color: Every voice, every clap, everyone welcome, whether samba is your first language or just your weekend adventure.

Bring friends or let the rhythm make new ones for you. Come curious, leave lifted.

Free to attend. Tradition required. Just bring yourself, a friend, and your energy.

Experience classic samba grooves like in the classic Rio de Janeiro backyard, Samba school and middle of the road.

Deep roots and real musicians, lots of percussion. Everyone welcomed, whether you’re steeped in the tradition or new to the Brazilian vibe. Bring a friend or meet new ones.
Casa La Rubia shows are free to the public and it’s also a great plan with kids that enjoy live music.
